Beechwood Sound Structures, Inc. was incorporated in Virginia in 1995 after relocating from Cincinnati, Ohio. Our owner and president, Greg Reusch, holds a Virginia State Class A license in both general and marine construction, and we are fully insured.
Our 35 years of experience in "hardscape and landscape" design and building includes concrete, wooden, composite, and stone applications for boathouses, docks, decks, steps, landings walls, driveways, building additions and renovations, gazebos and other outdoor and landscape structures.
Since 1999 our efforts have been focused on building boathouses and related structures such as steps, landings, and storage units at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Virginia. Our unique crane and barge equipment enables us to efficiently, safely, and competently complete projects in record time and to take on tough projects in areas where boathouses were once judged impracticable because of bedrock or water depth. One of our primary strengths is our ability to design and build in challenging situations where natural or other obstacles must be overcome.
We bring to our customers not only experience but a dedication to quality, reliability and innovation that is second to none. For example, in 2002 we designed, built, and introduced the only solar boat lift for boathouses for out customers who do not yet have electricity at the shoreline. We buy many of our materials in bulk directly from the manufacturer so that we can ensure high quality at a reasonable price to our customers. We constantly challenge ourselves to become better at what we do for our customers and for our own job satisfaction.
